Warnings

I thought I would like to focus on a few topic during these eight weeks. Of course I'll be paying a lot of attention to if my diet plans works so that other people who want to lose weight can follow the guidelines but also I would like to write about a few other techniques for losing weight and some do's and don'ts. So I'll start now with a few.

Don't stop eating
I know that for some people, it is tempting. In fact, very, very tempting. Fasting occasionally is one thing while starving yourself is another. If you starve yourself, you have an eating disorder called anorexia nervousa. I will follow up on that line of thought in a later post. Basically, if you stop eating you become dehydrated and grumpy because of your stomach always growling. Your body feeds off its fat stores and then turns to everything else in your body. Essentially, you cannibalize yourself for nutrients. Also, your body will recognize it is in starvation mode and your metabolism will shut down. People won't find you pretty or sexy or attractive if you stop eating. Instead, you'll closely resemble a skeleton and believe me, it usually looks pretty repulsive to the average person. If someone wants you to look like that, they're sick. Look it up but only if you don't have a queasy stomach. Some of the stuff is pretty graphic.
